Hey Guys, here are our forum rules of conduct. Please take a minute to read through and always do your very best to uphold the integrity of our community by following these basic guidelines to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our members. Thank you

1. While mature language is acceptable here please abide by the following limitations:
Please refrain from using extreme profanity and anything that would be considered especially offensive (if you're not sure, don't do it). Even though this language is not censored we would like to maintain an enjoyable environment for all of our forum members. This includes uploads of graphic pictures or links to other media sources that again might be considered offensive by some.

2. Absolutely no arguments over sensitive issues such as politics or religion will be tolerated as these topics have a tendency to quickly get out of hand. In a case such as discussing the history and or significance of particular weapons through out time and cultures these topics might be hard to avoid bringing up, so if it is considered relevant please keep it to facts and not just opinion. If we all use are best judgment here we shouldn't have a problem.

3. Please avoid making any slanderous comments or unfounded accusations about vendors, manufacturers, other sword forums, or any of our fellow members. This is inappropriate and could lead to much more intense and unpleasant situations which would not be good for anyone. If you have an issue with any of the above mentioned and feel that someone here could help you please contact them via PM or email.

4. Do not let discussions get out of control and turn into heated arguments. We are not here to fight and we all have the ability to keep our comments respectful. Opinions will always vary and as long as we remember that they are only just opinions we should have no problems getting along with each other no matter how differently we may feel. If you are involved in a discussion that seems to be turning south just agree to disagree and walk away with your honor intact and if you continue to feel raw about it, contact a moderator immediately.
Hey, we all have enough stress in our lives as it is, let's keep it out of the forum so we'll all continue to have a peaceful and enjoyable place to escape the daily grind.

5. Please do not "hijack" someones thread. Stay on topic and if you feel like changing the course, just simply start another thread. There are areas in this forum for many different topics so please post your thoughts in the appropriate section. If you feel a category is missing, please contact a moderator with your request and it will then be brought up for discussion by management.

6. If our "pretty loose" rules are violated:
depending on the offense, you will be contacted by a moderator or administrator* with a fair first warning, and if it continues to be a problem it could lead to temporary or even permanent banning from this forum. Disrespectful behavior towards members, moderators and administrators will not be tolerated in any way whatsoever.
Remember, karma is not just a button we click or a theme for a tv show, it is something we should be aware of everyday and will always give back to us what we put in. Let's do our best to keep the good vibes flowing in our community

*In all cases of rule violations and in general daily operations the owner/operator of  UBC admin and the mods retains the right to take the following actions without warning; locking, moving or deleting a thread, changing, adding or removing topics and or site features and temporarily or permanently banning any member.
